Daniels Preserve Homes for Sale
Upon rolling through the gates of the Mercedes Homes community of Daniels Preserve, you will quickly understand why investors and homeowners alike have initiated a sort of “buying frenzy” in the community.
Mercedes Homes is known for their bold colors and appealing architecture. This allowed for the community to be completely built out during the boom years.
One of the major selling points in the community is the affordable Homeowners Association payment. Because the community does not have an onsite fitness facility or swimming pool (you do have access to the Gateway community pool), simple community maintenance is really the only real cost the association incurs. This is great news to the homeowner, because the HOA payment is affordable, unlike many of the gated communities in Fort Myers, Florida.

Once in awhile, you will see a home on the market that is “too good to be true” in Daniel’s Preserve. If you find a home that is under $100k, move on, this home most likely has Chinese Drywall. For those who are unfamiliar with Chinese drywall, it is EXTREMELY costly to remediate. The only proven remediation is to remove all drywall, electric, and even some plumbing. You essentially have to strip the house down to the studs and start over. For the work and money required, you can find Daniels Preserve homes for sale that do not have Chinese drywall that are still incredible deals.
