Riverstone Naples is a BRAND NEW community launched by GL Homes, America’s 26th largest home builder. The community just launched in January of this year and accomplished something no other builder has since the “boom” days. The launch garnered so much attention that an estimated 2,000 people came out for the Grand Opening weekend and some even camped out to be sure they would secure the specific lot they wanted.
In the Grand Opening weekend alone, GL Homes sold 42 homes over the 2 day event. Since then, sales have topped the 100 home mark. This is an extremely impressive feat, considering there will be a total of 850 in the community upon completion.
Why all of the excitement you ask? We can start to answer this question with the length of time that has gone by since a new community has launched in Southwest Florida. Since the market adjustment of 2005-2006, we’ve had more stories of builders going belly up than we have had builders succeeding. Consumers have been vying over the same established communities in the area. As much as I am not an iPhone lover, I will be the first to commend Apple on their marketing tactics. The longer the wait for the newest product, the greater the hype. The GL Homes grand opening event attracted so much attention for being something new & “sexy.” Yes, they even had “campers” days before the event just like those diehard Apple fans.
Another major reason for the hype is the product & location. Located just east of I-75 off Immokalee Rd. in Naples, Riverstone Naples has quite the selection of single family homes. Buyers can choose from 15 different floor plans ranging from 1,748 sq.ft. to over 4,500 sq.ft. Prices range from $300k to just under $600k, so you get a lot of bang for your buck being in Naples.
Amenities in the community will also be impressive. The amenities center is coming soon and will boast an 11,000 sq.ft. club house, fitness center, resort style pool, tennis courts, and plenty of activities for the entire family. Even with all of the amenities coming, you will get to enjoy low HOA fees, because the builder has decided not to make it a golf community, therefore avoiding the additional fees associated with golf course communities.
